Dr Constantinos Stylianides

Obstetrician – Surgeon Gynaecologist

Dr Constantinos Stylianides graduated from the English School in 1998. After completing his military service, he studied Medicine at the Medical School of Semmelweis University, in Budapest, graduating in 2006 with grade “Summa Cum Laude”. Then, for an year he was a Preregistration House Officer and he continued his residency in Obstetrics-Gynaecology at Limassol General Hospital and Archbishop Makarios III Hospital. In 2013, he held the title of Obstetrician-Gynaecologist from Crete’s University Hospital.

He continued his studies in the field of Laparoscopic Surgery getting a Fellowship in Minimal Invasive Surgery in New Delhi, at the World Laparoscopy Hospital, as well as in Infertility investigation and treatment in Israel, at Ichilov-Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center. In addition, he trained in hysteroscopies at Royal Free Hospital in London and he received the European Colposcopist Certificate.

Moreover, he held a Master’s degree from the Open University of Cyprus in Hospital Management and a PhD from Cyprus Technological University. His dissertation referred to the Quality of the Perinatal Healthcare Services and Post-partum Depression.

He is also a Scientific Associate at the Cyprus’ Technological University and a Lecturer at the Midwifery Master’s degree of the Universiy. Moreover, he is a tutor and an examiner in Anatomy and Clinical Skills at the St George’s Medical School of the Univeristy of Nicosia, and an instructor at the ALSO International Seminars in Obstetric Emergencies.

He contributed to a number of medical articles published in International and Local Scientific Journals.

He is a member of the Pancyprian and Hellenic Association of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Child and Adolescent Gynaecology and the Hellenic Association of Colposcopists.
