
Dr. Christos Shaelos is a specialist Otorhinolaryngologist and Head and Neck Surgeon with many years of training abroad. He is a graduate of the School of Medicine of the Democritus University of Thrace. After his studies in Greece, he worked for a decade in leading otorhinolaryngology centers in Germany, gaining significant experience and specialization in the most modern methods of treating conditions in his field.
He obtained the specialty title "Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery" from the Medical Association of Westfalen-Lippe in Münster, after training at Prosper-Hospital Recklinghausen, Germany. He has participated in numerous rhinological and otological conferences in Germany and other countries, acquiring excellent knowledge and practical skills. He holds approved certification for performing head and neck ultrasound from the German Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (DEGUM - Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ultraschall in der Medizin).
He worked as a Consultant (Oberarzt) in the Otorhinolaryngology clinic of Klinikum Frankfurt-Höchst, an academic hospital of Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main, which is one of the largest health centers in the wider region. During his collaboration with the clinic, Dr. Siahilos underwent further training in head and neck surgical oncology. He himself served as a training surgeon for the residents of the clinic and was responsible for overseeing their training.
Dr. Shaelos has extensive experience in endoscopic surgery of the nose and paranasal sinuses and surgically treats the full spectrum of pediatric otorhinolaryngology, offering the most advanced and innovative techniques. His vision is the continuous updating and application of modern therapies that are proven to have significant advantages for the patient, based on international scientific data and standards.
