Dr. Constantinos Stylianides

Dr. Constantinos Stylianides graduated from the English School of Nicosia in 1998. He studied at the Semmelweis Medical School in Budapest, graduating in 2006 with distinction. He then completed one year of internship and five years of specialisation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Limassol General Hospital and Archbishop Makarios III Hospital. In 2013, following successful written and oral examinations, he was awarded the title of specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology by the University Hospital of Heraklion, Crete.

He received further training in Laparoscopic Surgery, particularly in infertility investigation/treatment and in vitro fertilisation, at the Ichilov–Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center in Israel, in hysteroscopy at the Royal Free Hospital in London, and in colposcopy. He holds a Pan-European Certification in the Diagnosis and Management of Cervical Pathology.

He holds a Master’s degree in “Health Unit Management” and a PhD from the School of Health Sciences of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT), with a dissertation on the Quality of Maternity Services and Postpartum Depression.

At the same time, he served for ten consecutive years as a Special Scientific Collaborator of the Cyprus University of Technology and lecturer in the Postgraduate Midwifery Programme of the Nursing School, as well as trainer of medical students at the St. George’s University of Nicosia Medical School and instructor at the international ALSO Emergency Obstetrics Seminars.

He is Vice-President of the Perinatal Society of Cyprus and a member of the Cyprus Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society, the Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology Society, and the Cyprus Society of Human Reproduction. He is also a member of the Hellenic Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and the Hellenic Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology.

He is the author of several articles in scientific journals and has presented numerous papers at national and international Obstetrics and Gynaecology conferences.
