
Dr Vicky Zeniou, Cardiologist,MD, HBHSci, FESC
Dr. Zeniou has been practicing Cardiology in Cyprus since 2019 with a particular interest in heart failure, valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, the treatment of hypertension, the treatment of dyslipidemia, and cardiac rehabilitation.
After 2004, when she obtained a degree in Health Sciences from the University of Western Ontario in Canada, she completed her Medical degree at Debrecen University in Hungary, and until 2018 she practiced as a Cardiology resident at Hadassah Medical Center in Israel.
She has publications in medical journals and has presented at medical conferences in English, Greek, and Hebrew.
She worked at the American Medical Center in Nicosia until 2020 in the emergency department, inpatient and outpatient care. 1 Since 2020, she has been the Cardiologist for the cardiac rehabilitation program of the Nicosia Association of Heart Patients. Dr. Zeniou has been a Consultant Cardiologist at the EIMC Medical Services Clinic and at the Platon Medical Center in Nicosia. Since 2024, she has been practicing outpatient and inpatient Cardiology at the Nicosia Polyclinic.
Dr. Vicky Zeniou is on the board of the Cyprus Atherosclerosis Society, a member of the European Society of Cardiology, the Hellenic Cardiological Society, the Cyprus Society of Cardiology, and the European Atherosclerosis Society. Dr. Zeniou also participates in committees for National Strategies with the Ministry of Health.
Beyond her cardiology practice, Dr. Zeniou's beliefs support education, information, and the promotion of health, and she states that "Proper guidance, a healthy diet, and proper physical exercise in our daily lives will help maintain balance in our lives, so that we can have physical and mental health without diseases."
