General Surgery

Nicosia Polyclinic has a very good tradition in General Surgery and the team consists of some of the most experienced surgeons in the country.

We are proud of our technologically advanced theatre facilities allowing our surgeons to perform at their highest possible level. Over the years we have achieved excellent post-operative outcomes for our patients.

Our surgeons have trained extensively in both traditional and laparoscopic (key-hole) surgeries ensuring our patients have the best options available for them. The surgeons offer their services independently but when needed they work together in more demanding surgical procedures in order to achieve better outcomes for their patients.

When needed, the surgeons work closely with associate surgeons and physicians (eg plastics, ENT, endocrinologists or gastoenterlogists) who, together with the patient, decide on the best possible management plan and set goals for discharge. Involvement of these multi-disciplinary teams has been proven by many scientific articles that it speeds up recovery process and enhances post-operative outcomes.
