The Nicosia Polyclinic, a leading healthcare institution in the capital, is looking for a motivated and empathetic Surgery Nurse to join its dynamic nursing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients throughout the inpatient department.
This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work in a patient-centered environment, contributing to patient care in specialties such as Pathology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, and others.
Job Description
Position: Surgery Nurse
Location: Nicosia Polyclinic, 22 Achaiwn Street, 1101, Nicosia, Cyprus
Main Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care in inpatient wards.

Administer medications and treatments according to medical prescriptions.

Monitor, assess, and record patients' condition and vital signs.

Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team of doctors, surgeons, and other health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Maintain patient records and nursing documentation.

Adhere to the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and hospital protocols.
Required Qualifications:

Nursing degree.

Valid professional license from the Cyprus Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Excellent command of the Greek language, both written and spoken. Good knowledge of English is also required.

Computer literacy.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Professional behavior with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member.
