Nicosia Polyclinic Seeks Dedicated Ward Nurse to Join the Nursing Team
The Nicosia Polyclinic, a leading healthcare institution in the capital, is currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Ward Nurse to join its dynamic nursing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients across the inpatient department.
This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work within a patient-centric environment, contributing to the care of patients in specialties including Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopedics and other.
Job Description
Position: Ward Nurse (Νοσηλευτής Θαλάμου)
Location: Nicosia Polyclinic, 22 Achaion Street, 1101, Nicosia, Cyprus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care in the inpatient wards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor, assess, and document patients' conditions and vital signs.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and nursing charts.
- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and hospital protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Πτυχίο Νοσηλευτικής).
- A valid license to practice from the Cyprus Nurses and Midwives Council (Συμβούλιο Νοσηλευτικής και Μαιευτικής Κύπρου).
- Excellent command of the Greek language, both written and spoken. A good working knowledge of the English language is also required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A professional behavior, with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Prior clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Proficiency in using hospital information systems.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
